Piston forward Tayshaun Prince's streak of 496 games played will come to an end tonight. Prince will miss tonight's against the Orlando Magic with a lower back strain. Prince's last missed game was back on April 13, 2003 against Memphis during his rookie season.

Prince will not travel with the team to Toronto on Wednesday or Orlando on Friday and his status will be re-evaluated on Saturday.

It will mark the first time since, April 17, 2002 that the Pistons will take the court without both Richard Hamilton (out with a sprained ankle) and Prince. Of course, neither was with the team at that point. Prince was still at Kentucky and Hamilton with the Washington Wizards
