NBA Draft preview: North Carolina's Ed Davis

North Carolina's Ed Davis is an intriguing prospect. Davis broke his wrist ending his sophomore season early. Davis was somewhat of a disappointment considering the high expectations put on him after a stellar freshman year. Many considered Davis a top-5 pick last season if he came out, but he didn't do himself any favors in the 24 games he played for the Tar Heels this season. Davis averaged 12.9 points, 9.2 rebounds and 2.7 blocks.

At 6-foot-9, 227 pounds Davis could add frontcourt help, but will likely struggle if asked to play center. An interesting sidenote, Davis has a long history with Ben Wallace. Davis' father Terry Davis like Wallace is a Virginia Union product. Davis and Wallace often workout together in the offseason and Davis even calls Wallace uncle.

Some mock drafts have the Pistons taking Davis at No. 7, but others having him falling out of the lottery. Here are some highlights for you to judge for yourself:
