NO RASHO - BEN COMING?

Rasho Nesterovic, one of the big men that Joe Dumars was considering as his fifth man, will sign with Toronto. He'll get $1.9 million next year, about $600,000 than the Pistons could offer with the veteran's minimum.
That makes it more likely Ben Wallace will return to his former club. Wallace received a $10 million buyout from Phoenix and still has a home here. At $1.3 million, he'd give John Kuester another defensive option behind Chris Wilcox and Kwame Brown at center.
Kuester found a lead assistant by coaxing Brian Hill to leave the New Jersey staff. Hill was the head coach at Orlando and will provide a good sounding board for Kuester in his first NBA head coaching job.
In the coming days, the Pistons will start signing their rookies. They needed to spend their cap money before making those deals.
